I stopped being stubborn, gave into what was needed, and increased our monthly grocery budget. I was trying to stay at our 2017, pre-inflation, family-of-6 budget number. But here we are in 2024 with13 people living at our house. I'm not sure why it took so long (let's go with the word stubborn again). But we bumped it up, and now I can breathe.
