Our bonus 5-year-old is visiting this weekend (former foster son and half sib to some of our kids). I ache for him when he isn't here and am so thankful for the days we can spend time with him.

 

And yes, it's harder when we add an 8th little one to our mix. But we don't care. Love trumps...everything.

 

Here's my go-to list when he comes to see us. Never have you met a kid as picky as this one. As long as he eats though, that's what matters.
