, here's an important question for you ...
Do you share your creative and professional accomplishments with your social network?
I'm guessing probably not as much as you could.
Here are reasons I think you should …
Peggy Klaus wrote a book years ago called, “Brag! The Art of Tooting Your Own Horn Without Blowing It.”
Great title.
Why do so many people (perhaps you?) shy away from celebrating their wins in public?
It’s because they're afraid of “blowing it.”
They don’t want to seem like they are bragging or “full of themselves.”
I get it. Some people give off that vibe.
But there are authentic ways to do it that don't come across as spammy.
One great way is to use someone or something else to do the bragging for you.
⮕ For instance, my Bob Baker Affirmations YouTube channel just reached 375,000 subscribers. That’s a sweet milestone!
⮕ My affirmations also recently started
appearing in the EmpowerYou app from Hay House (the publishing home of Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Joe Dispenza, etc). That’s exciting news!
Those aren’t opinions.
Those are simply facts I’m sharing - along with my excitement and gratitude for reaching them.
By sharing these things, I will hopefully
inspire others to pursue their dreams and passions.
It also has the added benefit of boosting my credibility, which can lead to more people benefiting from the stuff I put out in the world, hiring me as a coach, reaching out to interview me, etc.
I like to think of it as creating a perpetual ripple effect of good 😁
If you’ve been hesitant to toot your own horn, I encourage you to reconsider.
Start sharing:
⮕ Positive reviews of your book, music, etc.
⮕ Any media exposure you get
⮕ Testimonials from satisfied fans and customers
⮕ Awards you win
You CAN Toot Your Own Horn Without Blowing It!
