Humbling and exciting accomplishments for sure! But more than giving me bragging rights, I'm honored because it means the MESSAGE of my book is getting out there. Lives are being touched. And changed. THAT'S why I wrote it in the first
place.
There's still SO much to do - create the Kindle version, record and produce the audiobook, continue to promote the book through podcasts, interviews, and the like.
But I chose NOT to run from one huge task to the next. I chose to pause. To give myself time to RELISH the success. Not rush off to the next one.
Too often, when we chase achievement for our worth (like I did for decades), we feel like we can't stop. Because our worth is only as good as the next big accomplishment.
Many of my clients say the same thing. They become almost addicted to success, rushing from one goal to the next in a never-ending search for their next achievement "fix."
The next time you meet a goal, win an award, or have a success, take time to pause. Relish it. Let it simmer. (Are you hungry too, now? 🤣)
Know that you are enough. And that even if you didn't have this success, you'd STILL be enough. Because your accomplishments are not what make you worthy.
You are Worthy Be Design.
