Answering Your Questions About the ACADEMY
• How is the Academy different from the lessons' downloads?
The Academy offers only courses, all taken online without downloading anything. Ours currently include two kinds: Master Courses and Mini Courses. The Master Courses explore in depth a single composing
concept. The Mini Courses use the Series' lessons to guide you through exploring several ways to apply a single concept.
Both require that you actually do the exercises, rather than just watch the videos. It's like being in class where you participate rather than just take notes.
We will be adding new courses all along!
• Will the downloads still be available?
Yes! The Academy is an addition to our offerings, a place dedicated to teaching courses whereas the lesson downloads are for your buying and owning individual lessons.
At the Academy, you can click on "More about this course" and see the course outline. On the downloads site, you can click on the lesson and/or the Series it belongs to and read a description.
