Separate the eggs and set the whites aside. Beat 4 egg yolks. Slowly add 1/3 cup sugar. Continue to beat until the sugar dissolves. Add 1-pint whole milk, 1 cup
heavy cream, 1 tsp grated nutmeg and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Stir to combine.
In a new bowl, beat 4 egg whites until soft peaks form. Slowly add 1 tablespoon sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
Whisk the egg whites into the first mixture. Chill overnight before serving.
OPTIONAL: Prior to serving add Rum, Brandy and Blended Whiskey to taste!
