Thanksgiving is the time of the year when we focus on our blessings, appreciating others and being grateful. How do we do that during a world pandemic?
We continue or even increase our practice of giving thanks on a daily
basis for what we have, for the people in our lives, and for the small things. Being grateful and appreciative in the midst of challenges may be difficult if we're focused on what we don't have or what we don't like. The remedy to this is that I have found is to switch the focus.
"Whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. “
This isn't just a nice scripture, it is literally how to move through these uncertain times with peace and gratitude. When this is our focus and we are giving thanks for the abundant blessings we already have, we will see and receive more to be grateful for. It's a beautiful circle of gratitude.
This is what I pray for you and our world right now. I am thankful for YOU!
Please enjoy these to help you connect with gratitude and peace.
