PCA—Porsche continues to capitalize on customers’ desire to be different with the new 2021 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, a limited “lifestyle” product, the type of which Porsche said it would start building when it debuted the last 911 Speedster with a similar, optional design package in 2018. What’s important about the new Targa 4S Heritage is
that it is the first lifestyle model to launch down-market from the nearly $250,000 Speedster. That’s not to say the Targa 4S Heritage is cheap — try $180,600 (not including $1,350 delivery, processing, and handling fee) — and it will be limited to 992 units. What buyers get won’t improve the 0-60 miles-per-hour time, but they will blur by in a unique shade of Cherry Metallic, or one of four other available colors that weren’t mentioned in the press release.
