Hi there, !
Hope you are doing well as you navigate this temporary "normal." If you are a practicing nurse, thank you for your service to your patients, organization, and the nursing profession! Though I do not work in a healthcare facility, I'm a member of my state medical volunteers; I'm ready if they need me.
If you are a nursing student, I'm sure you are completing your courses online as most states have a "stay-at-home" or "shelter-in-place" order. I want to point you to a blog post you may not have seen that will help you manage your online courses:
On a different subject, you can now find the FREE webinar workshop series: How to Thrive in Nursing School at the top of the website menu. If you go to My Profile (under the My Account tab) you'll see the course and your progress there, too. This workshop series is
a prelude to the Student Nurse to RN Success Path course that will be available this year.

In Times of Uncertainty: Adapt, be Flexible!
Flexibility and adaptability are core characteristics of the professional nurse. With all of the changes that have taken place because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it's easy to get frustrated especially if you are in the midst of nursing studies. I get it, I do! But, I have to say that I've been distressed at some of the comments from nursing students I've read on nursing discussion
sites related to the mandated changes to their classes and clinicals.
Trust me, the faculty and programs are doing their best -- they wouldn't have chosen the paths they are now on, either. Assume goodwill. Please, try to take things in stride and be flexible as we all work through this situation that none of us have seen in our lifetimes! This is a time to demonstrate your willingness to be adapt to the changes that occur because this will not
be the first time that your normal routines for work or life will be disrupted due to unforeseen events!
