Speaking To Drive Traffic?
I was a little wiped out for the Weekend Q and A Training tonight because I was asked by an old friend to speak at his event about AI.
I may not do that again in the same way.
I recognized the minute I got up to speak that I really should have been teaching
something over the shoulder and from my laptop (which I left at home).
I didn't even "make an offer".
I did learn something though.
I originally thought going in that by going to local events
and speaking that I may attract people to the local Meetup. After having done this, I can safely scratch that off my list. It may work for others...it's not my thing.
There are other things that I am better suited for. Something that you too must determine to grow your marketing funnel. There is an area for everyone where they/we are in our creative space.

Reminds Me of Something Else
As you know, while not a devotee or fan boy, I spend a LOT of my mindless time (uploading, downloading and categorizing) listening to Dan Kennedy.
Although he has teamed with Russell Brunson and his people, I am old school and still
prefer to listen only to Dan.
He often says that the majority is always wrong.
I agree with him.
Case in point, today I knew that getting on a "stage" and talking was not quite my cup of tea to get
people interested in making sales. People LOVED what I taught. But after having spoken, my list is no bigger nor my sales no better.
B-B-B-But I have heard it a good many times that speaking is a short cut or a hack to the process.
It wasn't today.
As we work through the Midweek Training, you will be asked over and over again to define who you want to serve, how you're wired to deliver to those people and what you want to deliver to them. And there are no shortcuts.
The short way is the long way.
The 12 principles I gave you in New Marketer Workshop 52 Week Session are still the guideposts, starting with "positioning yourself as an educator in the subniche" and "doing a weekly workshop".
