A version of this newsletter is going out to the broader PLR Show Community this week.
This weekend, we released written content on the subject of Leadership. This one product subject title on Servant Leadership is part of a series of Leadership projects that we will be doing this
calendar year.
It coincides with the work we are doing together in our doctoral program as students in Organizational Leadership.
But more importantly, it coincides with a need I have noticed in talking to information marketers over the years.
...specifically those that are of a certain age range.
Now...I hate labels, but in this case I am going to use them because they're instructive for me to give you a sense of who I am talking about. Generation X, Boomers and Silent Generation people (ages 50 through 90) understand the concept of duty and can be motivated by it.
A fair number of these people may be more motivated by a sense of duty than by opportunity. I'd say about 80% of the people in this age range in your audience (current and potential) are this way.
In fact, you may be that way also.
So, the idea of making a gazillion dollars will not get them to sacrifice and do what is necessary as an information marketer.
But if you can show them how to do their duty for present and future customers, they may overcome their shyness, lack of outgoing nature, impostor syndrome and all of the other 'sicknesses' that get in their way.
Leadership lines up with duty and works better for some in your audience than opportunity.
So, teach the concept of Leadership to your people so that you can reach those that won't get over themselves just to make a bunch of money no matter what you show them. This is a missing link for success for some of the people in your
audience that have a few (or many) gray hair(s).
