Hi
I would officially like to wish you a glorious new year! I know that you have not received many messages from me lately but it is because I've been reflecting on 2021. It has been a challenging year for many people with the ongoing pandemic, which is now into its fourth wave in many countries. I have also faced many challenges on a personal level, whose details are not pertinent, however recently I was nearly at the point of overwhelm as I faced one
adversity after another.
I have heard similar stories from many others who have lost loved ones to COVID 19, have been dealing with health issues, have had strained relationships, have lost their jobs or faced financial hardship. It seems as though the pandemic has brought many things to light and has forced people to reexamine their lives and where they have focused their attention.
Too often we get caught up in the mechanics of our daily life situations and do not see the bigger picture of why we are here in the first place. Yes we have to do our tasks of daily living and provide for ourselves and our families, however, we are all here for greater mission, which is unique to each and everyone of us. The problem is that few people have the insight or take the time to discover what this is.
If we could truly discover why we are here then this would change everything. I believe that all the adversity and challenges that humanity is facing, including myself, are to call us to realize that we are not living the lives we were meant to be living. We have not heeded this call, which is why these challenges are arising. This is also true of my life, as I have moved closer to my personal truth, however, I still have a long ways to go to get to where I need
to be.
This is why 2022, for me, is going to be about discovering the truth about why I am here, what my greater mission on this planet is and what I need to do about it right now. The question I have for you is how are you going to define your 2022? What lessons did you learn from 2021 that you will carry forth into the new year to make this the best year ever?
