In the last several posts I've talked about the global meta crisis that humanity faces, which is a convergence of all the crises that we are dealing with including climate change, war, human slavery and increasing government control. I've introduced the concept of trauma and how we are all traumatized in one way or another but few of us know it.
I've also introduced the concept of
Shadow Work as way to process all the inner pain and turmoil that accumulate throughout our lives in the form of negative thinking and suppressed emotions. I've discussed the ingredients of Shadow Work as sharing the load, journaling, and questioning, however there is more to say about this. The fact is that most people are afraid to confront the deepest, darkest parts of their psyche because they do not want face the demons that lurk within.
By virtue of being human, we all
have these inner demons that can manifest in various ways such as ill health, relationship problems, financial debt and a sense of hopelessness and meaninglessness, to name a few. The fact is that most people have faced one or more of these challenges in their lives, however, these challenges continue to persist.
It does not matter how much coaching you get, how many motivational or inspirational books you read or who has your back, if you do not do that deep inner work, you
will forever remain in the trenches of life with no hope of getting out. This is why we must all face our shadow, no matter how difficult it may seem.
Do not let fear get in the way because it will forever keep you from ascending to heights in your life that you never dreamed possible. It will also keep us from effectively engaging with the challenges that humanity faces in the form of the global meta crisis. When you do the deep inner work you transmute your shadow into fuel
for your higher consciousness which will help you transcend your limited self and overcome all the challenges that we face.
If you do not take this crucial step you risk abiding in a state of suffering for the rest of your life and transmit it to the world around you.
In the next post I will discuss examples of those who have done Shadow Work and emerged from it as a greater version of themselves.
