It’s Saturday and I can’t sleep anymore. Summer is quickly coming to an end. My month has been jam packed with social activities. I disappear in the winter, so summer is when I get out and connect as much as I can.

Social time is important to our health. That sense of connection plays an important role in our mental well-being, which impacts our physical well-being.

Have you ever wondered why the holidays are crammed into a few fall/winter months? Back in the day (way, way back) people created social gatherings for support to get them through the quiet, cold winter months. It was a way to reduce depression and isolation.
