Engineers of
Tomorrow
Inspiring the next generation of problem solvers and game changers! Hope you're having a wonderful summer, friends! We had some amazing conversations and connections in July! Read more

Lunch with Google!
Thanks again to our hosts at Google Canada for some fantastic food, and great conversations about some potential collaborations. Very inspired by Google's volunteer initiatives! We're looking forward to continuing the conversation with Google about how they can engage with our outreach framework to raise the bar.
Halton District School Board's i-STEM program
We are continuing the conversation with HDSB and the work that they are doing to launch i-STEM - an innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math program. We were honoured to be invited to be on the advisory board
for this initiative, and we are looking forward to helping to shape the future for many HDSB students! Program updates can be found on the HDSB website.
Welcoming Groundswell - your new NEM 2019 campaign service provider!
We have had the privilege of servicing the National Engineering Month Ontario campaign for the last six years. We are grateful for the amazing support of the volunteers and the NEM
steering committee and we are proud of the impact that we have helped to achieve. Since 2013, the campaign has grown both in size (quantity of events and their reach) and quality of messaging ("There's a place for you!"). We've presided over innovations in outreach like the button maker, Engineering Storytime, and watched with delight as OACETT's College Challenge and OSPE's Engineering Student Outreach Challenge took shape!
We are going to focus on some new challenges and continue changing the perceptions about engineering and STEM for young people. We have made a strategic decision not to return as the campaign service provider for NEM 2019. We are pleased to welcome Groundswell aboard to pick up where we left
off. We are confident in their ability to support the event organizers for NEM 2019, to bring their own innovative ideas to the table.
We hope you all will continue to stay connected with us and rest assured, we will be following along with all of the #NEM2019 excitement in March!
Making new friends!
And finally, we've had a busy month making some new friends as we move forward with some big plans to help shape the future of
engineering.
