Product Spotlight-Waves of Inspiration Bundle
Each of the world's wide and open oceans are brimming with beauty and wonder. Discover the depths of the ocean-and your artistic abilities-with the Waves of Inspiration Bundle
The Waves of Inspiration Bundle includes the Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set and the Waves Dies.
Use these stamps and dies to escape to to the seaside and create gorgeous cards of thanks and friendship.
Waves of the Ocean- Three Panel Card
Create an easy three panel fold card for added interest!
1. Start with a card base measuring 11" x 4 1/4" and scored in half at 5 1/2."
Cut an insert piece measuring 10 1/2" x 4" and scored at 5 1/4."
You'll also need a piece of designer paper measuring 5" x 3 3/4".
2. Fold the card base on the score line and cut out a window with a die in the front panel. I used a die from the Diorama Dies.
3. Cut waves out of Foil paper using a die-cut machine and Waves Dies.
Layer together using a small amount of Tombow Glue.
4. Apply a thin line of Tombow Glue along the bottom edge of the inside of the window and attach the waves.
5. For the insert, stamp images from Waves of Inspiration.
-I stamped the wave image on the left side of the insert using Night of Navy ink and the Stamparatus. Since the image is a bit longer than the panel, I masked off the end of the image using a piece of tape. Ink up the image, remove the tape, then stamp.
-On the other side, I stamped the grass image from Beyond the Horizon on a post-it note and then cut it out using scissors.
I placed the mask on the right side of the panel and stamped the pelican image from Waves of Inspiration over the mask. I removed the mask and stamped the grass in the space left behind.
-Stamp the greeting and birds.
-I had a small piece of blue foil leftover from cutting out a wave, so I added it to the inside.
6. Attach the inside panel to the inside of the card base.
7.Attach the designer paper to the front panel.
8.I decided that the window needed a frame, so I cut one out of silver foil by nesting two diorama dies, one inside the other.
Attach using Tombow Glue.
9. Add Waves Basic Jewels to complete.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Waves of Inspiration, On the Horizon
Ink: Night of Navy
Paper: Night of Navy, Basic White, *Blue Foils
Accessories: Stampin' Cut & Die Machine, Waves and Diorama Dies, Stamparatus, Scotch Tape, Post-it-Note, Tombow Glue, *Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels

Waves of Inspiration Clear-Block Background
Create easy backgrounds using the Clear Block Background Technique
1. To create the clear block background, tap ink pads onto a clear block. I started with Balmy Blue for this card, then added Pacific Point.
2. Spritz with water, stamp on the card front, let set for a few seconds to let the ink run and pool, remove and set aside to dry.
3. Once dry, stamp wave using Stamparatus. Since I didn't want the wave to extend past the background, I masked off the end using a piece of tape. Ink with Night of Navy, remove the tape, and stamp. Then, repeat with Coastal Cabana ink. Be sure to remove the tape before stamping!
4. Attach to Blue Foil mat and attach to Basic White card base.
5. Do the clear block background on a scrap piece of Basic White, stamp the greeting and cut out using the coordinating die. Attach using Mini Dimensionals. Stamp the birds and add Waves Jewels to complete.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Waves of Inspiration
Ink: Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana
Paper: Basic White, *Blue Foils
Accessories: Clear block "F", spritzer bottle with water, Stamparatus, Scotch Tape, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Waves Dies, *Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels
*Currently unavailable due to supply chain issues
Using Paper Scraps-Sketch Challenge
Here's an idea to use up paper scraps.
The strips of paper can be any width and length of your choosing.
1.Cut strips of Waves of the Ocean, Blue Foils, and Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper 1/4" wide.
2. Cut a piece of Adhesive Sheet measuring 4 3/4" x 2".
3. Peel off the backing on one side, and attach strips of paper. Trim off any excess if needed.
4. Peel off the other side of the Adhesive Sheet and attach to Coastal Cabana mat.
5. Attach to Basic White card base. Stamp greeting using Night of Navy ink.
6. Stamp pelican on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using Night of Navy ink. Cut out using die-cut machine and coordinating Waves Die. Attach to card front using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Waves of Inspiration
Ink: Night of Navy
Paper: Basic White, Coastal Cabana, Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper, *Blue Foils, and Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper
*Currently unavailable due to supply chain issues
