A Torn Paper Sea Scape
Instructions:
1. Tear scraps of card stock. For this card, I used Night of Navy, So Saffron, Crushed Curry, Mango Melody, Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Balmy Blue and Pacific Point scraps of card stock.
2. Build the landscape on a piece of scrap card stock base slightly larger than what you need. Start
at the top with your first color and layer to the bottom. Generally, I started with card stock scraps measuring 3 3/4" long x 1-1 1/2" wide.
3. Trim the piece, cutting off any card stock that is beyond the base edges. Create a frame for the piece by nesting two rectangle dies, one larger than the other, and cut out of Night of Navy card stock.
4. Stamp wave from Waves of Inspiration on Basic White card stock using Night of Navy ink. Stamp again using Pacific Point ink. I used my Stamparatus since I was stamping the same image with different ink. Fussy cut using scissors.
5. Cut detail wave image using a die-cut machine and Waves Die. I used retired Waves of the Ocean
Designer Series Paper. Attach to wave image using a small amount of liquid glue.
6. Attach wave to torn paper landscape. Attach frame using a small amount of Liquid Glue.
7. Attach to Basic White card base. Stamp greeting using Night of Navy ink.
8.Stamp pelican image on Basic White card stock using Night of Navy ink. Cut out using coordinating Waves die. Attach to card front to complete.
