1. Place 5" x 3 3/4" piece of watercolor paper into the Stamparatus. Place mountains and trees from Mountain Air onto the watercolor paper, photopolymer side down. Close the plate, picking up the stamps. Ink stamps with Early Espresso, and close the plate to stamp. Repeat as needed to get a dark stamped image.
2. Remove watercolor paper from the Stamparatus. With a water painter or paintbrush, swipe water over the stamped images, streaking the ink. Repeat as needed to cover the entire card front. Set aside to dry completely. To speed up the drying process, you can heat set it with a heat tool.
3. Before embossing the card front, I inked the bottom only of the tree stamp using Early Espresso ink. I then turned the stamp upside down and stamped at the bottom of the card front, filling in the area. I repeated this step, stamping between the mountains and the trees. I then inked the top part only of the mountain stamp with Early Espresso ink. I off
stamped, then stamped the image offset from the main image.
4. Emboss the card front using a die-cut machine (Stampin' Cut & Emboss) using Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder. Attach to Early Espresso mat. Attach to Crumb Cake card front.
5. Stamp greeting from Love of Leaves on Crumb Cake card stock using Early Espresso ink. I used the Stamparatus. Banner cut end. Attach to watercolor mat that has been banner cut on one end. Attach to Early Espresso mat that has also been banner cut on one end. Attach to card front. Attach an enamel dot to complete.
