Weekly News

Have you ever forgotten something important? Like you knew there was something you were supposed to do, but you couldn't remember what?
That was me all last week.
Not sure if you noticed or not, but I forgot to send you a newsletter last week. Don't worry, it wasn't just you, I forgot lots of important things last week.

Oddly enough, I am working on getting my personal heath back on track and part of the detox is a foggy brain. Honestly, I thought that was a joke. I'm here to testify, it is no joke and I am thankful to have a clearer train of thought this week.

Speaking of my detox, I would like to share another part of my journey (check out my FB link below for more details). I am BIG on community. YOU are part of my community, my family. I believe there is strength in numbers and I also believe everyone should have a support team.
For that reason, I have started a Facebook group for anyone who would like an accountability and support team for healthier living. It is not a diet specific group, we come from all walks of life and we understand one size doesn't fit all.
I have found I am more successful if I have someone (other than myself) to be accountable to, share my struggles with and when I'm surrounded by people who celebrate my successes.
I invite you to join me on my journey to better health.

Construction Update
Confession time.
We have been living in this major construction zone for so long, I honestly didn't think I would ever see the end.
Well now the end is very near and I'm kind of freaking out.
All the 'what ifs' and 'what abouts' are creeping in my mind.
We are 2 weeks away from TOTAL completion and signing the dotted line.
I have to remind myself that God's got this and it's OK if I don't know all the details.

Everything on the inside is done other than trim paint (my job) and hubs is working on finishing the cedar siding over the next two weeks. Then all we will have to do is pray for the right buyer!

Southern' Sayin' Of The Week:

" Never ask a question you don't want the answer to"

Do you have a Southern Sayin to share? They crack me up!

Our goal is to invite you to join us from conception to completion and form a Community of like-minded people to share this adventure with.

Trying To Be A Healthier Me

Why? Because I'm getting close to 50, overweight, out of shape, health issues, lack of energy, and the list goes on.

Homesteading and farming are both mentally and physically demanding. Not to mention throwing in building a house from scratch. This is no task for the person I was. I didn't want to be on the sidelines while my family did all the work.
