Bet you thought I fell off the face of the earth? Called it quits? Forgotten about you?
The truth is, I got overwhelmed. I fooled myself into believing I could do everything I needed to do at home
and keep up with my online responsibilities.
Obviously, I failed at the latter. I greatly apologize.
Here's the good news!
I'm back on track and I have so much to share with you!!
Construction Update
In my last update, I announced we were listing our house on a Friday. Well we did, and it showed 5 times in 24 hours. We received a full price cash
offer that we couldn't refuse. The kicker?
By the time the insanity of it all came together, we had less than one week to pack 22 years worth of stuff and find a place to live!

Following The Dream
Sharing the events over the last two months in one newsletter would be a mini book so I will keep this short and sweet.
- We sold our home and moved in one week
- Placed an offer on 46 acres in the mountains in East Tennessee by the Smoky Mountain National Park.
- Lived in a hotel for 17 days with 3 kids and two dogs while waiting to close on our property.
- Moved to our new land and we're fixing up a small (500 sq ft) log cabin to stay in while we build our
off-grid home
- We've been on our property for a total of 16 days today with a week back in South Carolina in the middle of that for our daughters prom and school testing.
- We are living like the old days with wood cook stove, water from the creek and small log cabin living
Our goal is to create videos for you so you can watch the projects as they
come together and the land develop.
