Colombia now looks to be on track for vaccinating 35 million Colombians in 2021 and is averaging vaccinating at a rate of up to 1 million COVID-19 vaccine doses every four to five days.
In addition, the rate of new coronavirus deaths has dropped dramatically, as new cases drop. The peak was over 600 reported coronavirus deaths per day but this has new dropped to less than 100 reported coronavirus deaths per day over the past several days.
