Donor Spotlight - Honoring Legacy and Community: The Dean and Cam Williams Foundation
Project Recover is thrilled to announce that The Dean and Cam Williams Foundation has made a generous donation to continue moving our mission forward in 2024. Please join us in thanking them for investing in us and our mission to bring home America's MIAs.
The Dean and Cam Williams Foundation carries on the spirit of its founders, Dean and Cam Williams, by supporting causes close to their hearts: military families, American values, education, animal welfare, and their local
community.
Dean's military heritage shaped him deeply. His father and uncle were career Marines, and he himself served in Army Intelligence during the Vietnam War. These experiences instilled in him a lifelong
dedication to supporting those who have served and their families. Dean and Cam met at Furman University and built a life together after graduation. After earning his MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, Dean achieved a successful career in global investment management, which provided the foundation for their philanthropic endeavors.
Today, Diane Johnson and Roy Williamson carry on the mission of the Dean and Cam Williams Foundation. Diane, Dean's business partner for over 30 years, shares his dedication to community service. Roy, a Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Constellation during the Vietnam War, brings his own understanding of military service and its challenges. Their long-standing friendships with Dean and
Cam further strengthen their commitment to Dean and Cam's vision. Together, they ensure that the purpose of the Dean and Cam Williams Foundation continues to make positive impacts.
