Dear Friends,
Wow! What wild times we are in. It's amazing to think we are all seemingly isolated in our various pockets of the world, yet experiencing this together like never before in history. I'm writing to you from my little home in The Netherlands where we, like many of you, are on stay-at-home orders.
Lately, I've been dreaming of India (my mom) vividly and I know she is both present and probably relieved that she doesn't have to deal with any of the worldly logistics of the coronavirus. One of the projects India had worked on—but unfortunately never happened—was to have a huge Yoga Be-in in New York City.
Be-ins started in the Hippie days with the concept of to simply "be" together while focusing on peace and higher consciousness. Recently, we have all been unwittingly thrust into a Worldwide Be-in. While we literally have to be in our homes and are physically separated, we can still use this opportunity to have a be-in through our collective efforts and connecting to one another in new ways.
We'd like to keep our Feathered Pipe Community full of hope by continually finding ways to support each other through these unique times. In the spirit of solidarity, we have compiled an extensive list of virtual classes and online services being offered by some of our favorite teachers.
In an unexpected way, India's dream of the Yoga Be-in can be realized through the virtual world. We can do yoga and meditate together, connected by our simultaneous focus on consciousness and our WiFi!
Meanwhile as we stay in touch through the virtual world, we will pray that no computer viruses will try to compete with the coronavirus.

Coronavirus: Are You Trading Away Your Health Reserves? – Dr. Joseph Lamb
As we struggle with the new reality of a global epidemic, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions seem to be at the highest risk of poor outcomes with COVID-19. But as has been noted, not all poor outcomes are associated with these groups. Younger people and seemingly healthy people are dying with COVID-19. These deaths are not clearly associated with any known medical cause. Could it be that these represent individuals who have traded away their health reserves?
