IMPORTANT UPDATE: Summer's Here: Feathered Pipe 2020 Retreat Season

Published: Sat, 06/06/20

Just a quick update concerning yesterday's update on our upcoming season of retreats. We mistakenly said that Montana had moved into stage 2 of the re-opening process, as of July 1st. The corrected date is June 1st, after which, groups of up to 50 are being allowed with appropriate social distancing. We apologize for the error, but this should come as even better news concerning our decision to move forward with all retreat programs from July 11 on.

Also there has been some confusion about the modified accommodation situation for 2020. As said, in order to ensure a safe environment for all, we will hold the maximum number of registrants for any program to 24. Accommodations will be single accommodation, except when friends/partners have registered desiring to room together.

For those wishing to reserve a particular accommodation, the upgrade accommodation fees for indoor lodging are set at last year's levels to ease financial stress. As the Main Lodge dorm rooms typically house 3-4 roommates and will now be either single or double occupancy only, the fee to reserve them as well has been adjusted.

For those not wishing to pay an upgrade accommodation fee to reserve a particular accommodation, your preference of lodging will be noted and your name will go into a pool with all other registrants not wishing to pay an upgrade fee. Remaining lodging then will be assigned before the program start according to the date registered (earliest to latest). As said before, we will do our best to accommodate everyone's need.

One additional note for those who are intending to join us this summer, Delta Airlines which flies direct to Helena via Minneapolis and Salt Lake City has drastically cut the number of flights they are running to and from secondary and small cities domestically. Because of this, we would strongly encourage those planning their travel to investigate both Alaska and United Airlines. Both airlines are still running at least two flights a day in and out of Helena. Alaska, as well, has started servicing numerous locations on the East Coast and in the Midwest, beyond their typical West Coast routes.

Stay safe, be well and hope to see you this summer!

Love & Gratitude,
Feathered Pipe Foundation
