Bye Bye 2020: New Year’s Eve Event Reminder

As our Executive Director Crystal Water said during the intro to the Musical Gift of Gratitude playlist that she assembled, 2020 has been a year we went from contemplating Feathered Pipe’s survival to celebrating our realization that we are well on the path to thriving. That’s due in no small part to our hardworking behind-the-scenes team, yet none of our success and optimism about the future would be happening without all of you.
Our eclectic and generous community of supporters, cheerleaders, and volunteers made it possible for us to look back on this challenging year with relief — and gratitude.
We would be pleased to have you accept our gesture of thanks in the form of a 1.5 hour online gathering happening at 12pm ET (9am PT) on New Year’s Eve (31 December). It’s my privilege and joy to share about an hour of accessible-to-everyone mindful movement plus a compassion meditation with you. The idea is for all of us, together, to say Bye Bye 2020 — and prepare to greet the coming days and months and year ahead with a shared commitment to the common good. No experience with any movement or meditation modality is required. Every body is welcome! Come as you are.
After the movement and meditation portion of our gathering, it’s open mic time! It’s a chance for you to connect with old and new friends. Plus, enjoy some time with Crystal as she shares some glimpses into what 2020 was like at Feathered Pipe and what we’re looking forward to accomplishing together with you in 2021.
This is a 100 percent FREE event that’s all about saying thanks to you. Optionally, if you are inspired and in a position to help us meet our end-of-year $52,600 fundraising goal, the happy news is that we’ve secured $26,300 in matching fund pledges thanks to some generous Ranch friends, our Executive Director, and our board of directors. This means any donation you make can be doubled. Since we announced our year-end fundraiser, we’re already up to $33,500 raised, which is healthy progress in meeting our goal.
