JourneyWoman Book Club Update
Hello book and travel lovers! Our JourneyWoman Book Club is moving into our second year -- and it's even better thanks to our partnership with TripFiction. Based in the UK, TripFiction makes it easy to find that perfect combination of book and
destination, allowing you to search books by location, title, author and genre.
In November, we shared our first three books for 2022, and today, I'm thrilled to share our next three, which take us through to July. These include;
- May: Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia (Mexico)
- June: In the Shadow of the Banyan by Vaddey Ratner (Cambodia)
- July: The Paper Palace by Miranda Cowley Heller (Cape Cod)

I hope you’ll join us this Wednesday, March 16 at 8 pm ET for our monthly book club meeting. We'll be discussing "An Act of Love" by Carol Drinkwater, whose name you may recognize from the BBC Series of James Herriot's All Creatures Great and Small or her best-selling books about her olive farm in Provence. "An Act of Love" is set in 1943
France, and shares the story of Sara, who is forced to leave war-ravaged Poland and escape to France. Its themes are powerfully relevant in today's world: what doe freedom mean? How do we define 'home'?

Missed a book club meeting? We record all of our book club meetings so that you can watch them later. Whether you join in person or watch after, we ask for a small donation, which helps us cover our costs and support non-profits, like
Sunflowers for Peace, which is sending backpacks with medical supplies to the front lines in Ukraine.
