Can you believe it's already September?
As JourneyWoman celebrates our 28th year in service to solo women travellers, it feels like the right time to start thinking about 2023 and what's next.
Today, I'm inviting you to share your views our 2022 Solo Women's Travel Survey, which I've called 'Embracing the Unknown: The Future of Women's Solo Travel'. This is a follow-up to a survey we did in 2020, which emphasized the influential role of women in travel (Read: "Why Women Will Save Travel.") At the time, I
asked: "How do we actively participate in rebuilding and reshaping the industry,
knowing that our participation and contribution is and will continue to be significant?” That question still holds true today.
I believe in the power of women's voices, so hearing your perspective on the future and your needs is important to me. More than anything, I want to ensure that we, as mature solo travellers, are well represented in the travel industry and that I am developing inspiring and practical editorial that helps you travel safely and well.
This year, our survey is supported by Trafalgar Tours and also by WeTravel, both of which want to make travel better and safer
for female solo travellers.
Even better, we've got prizes!
Take 10 minutes now to check out all the goodies, which have been generously donated by Las Cascadas Lodge, European Experiences, Girls' Guide to the World, the Art of Intuitive Photography and the Chelsea Hotel.
