As promised....Just returned from SU's ON STAGE in Houston.  If you are a member of Stamping Fusion (on Facebook) -- you were able to follow as we posted everyday within our private group.  I was joined this year by my sister and my best friend from college.   

There was so much going on and so much to process...so stay tuned to my BLOG and YOUTUBE channel for updates...but first things first....the new catalog.... 

The New Catalog!! has a new format -- You won't want to miss this one! 

I think casual, quick & easy and avid crafters will really appreciate the format as well as the product selection.

Let me share some highlights from my ON STAGE experience.  I hope my sharing will enable  you to get a feel for the event beginning with....

As one of our activities in the Product Playground  -- we all created this sheet to get familiar with the new IN COLORS.  What I like about it is that it shows the Card Stock, Inks, and Stamp & Write Markers all together.  Three mediums side by side. 

I just love the quality of SU products and how true the PIGMENT remains across various mediums. I don't know if you can say that about any other crafting essentials!!! 

CRAFTING AFTERHOURS

When we registered we had a chance to pick from several bundles and then use new products.    We were supplied with our crafting essentials....INK-PAPER-STAMPS --- IN COLOR Cardstock, inks, Memento Black Ink, Bakers Twine and Shimmer Gems.  They also provided a new color -- BASIC BEIGE!

Here are the bundles we got to choose: 

• CITRUS BLOOMS
• COUNTRY FLOWERS
• SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE

The CITRUS BLOOMS stamp set will be part of a phenomenal new suite "MEDITERRANEAN BLOOMS".  The DSP was part of the PRIZE PATROLS (featured below)!

Citrus Blooms (featuring the Peach Pie & Shy Shamrock inks using a watercolor method)

Country Flowers using another water color technique. The Country Wood DSP will coordinate with a beautiful suite that includes this stamp set. 

Spotlight on Nature (my favorite) -- notice a NEW color?  -- There is a new INK called "BASIC BEIGE" that I used as an outline for my watercolor coloring technique -- I really loved it.  I will definitely put out a video tutorial on this one! 

Also, this bundle comes with some great nesting circle dies that you will love!  

MAKE & TAKE 

The next day, we were given new products to create cards using several new ephemeral packs that will be featured in the new catalog.  Now SU hasn't really featured a lot of ephemera in the past-- but I was impressed. This is a great option for some stunning -- quick and easy cards.  But even as an AVID crafter myself -- I loved just playing with the combinations!  I will feature more soon...so stay tuned on my YOUTUBE channel. 

• FULLY FLOWERING EPHEMERA PACK
• LABLE & LAYERS MIX EPHEMERAL PACK

These cards were made using a great neutral pack of base cards & envelops from the CALMING CREEK Mix & Match Cards & Envelops.   We took our IN COLOR Cardstock from the night before to create base cards and then cut the notecards in TWO to create 5.25' X 4" layers -- that extended our supplies since there were so many great images and combinations! 

The sentiments were stamped with a new stamp set SIMPLY SAID that has all the basic sentiments.  This will be great for a stamper that needs a great "go to" set for occasion cards. You will love the typeface/fonts.  I definitely put this on my Product Premiere Pre-order (PPP).

PRIZE PATROLS

Every SU event features "prize patrols".  Since there were three of us ---  we divided the DSP from each PP so that each got a larger selection to play with when we got home...here were the featured DSPs....
