On October 7, 2021, Charles Hitzeman, his wife Danielle, family, and staff of Hitzeman Funeral Home were honored by the LaGrange Park Chamber of Commerce as Business of the Year.
While our business is just over the boundary in Brookfield, Hitzeman Funeral Home has been active and supporting members of the LaGrange Park Chamber since its’ origin. We serve families within the community and have been a trusted part for over seven decades. We continue to support LaGrange Park and surrounding communities with attending and organizing events, as well as financial
sponsorships.
Chuck stated. “We are proud to serve LaGrange Park, Brookfield and all our surrounding communities. I am very passionate about our community, our neighbors and their well-being and the continued growth and success of our community.”

Linda Frances Sokol, financial advisor and guest speaker for the evening, mirrored the importance of community involvement. Her family utilized Hitzeman Funeral Home, because they were at every function and fund raiser for the community. Community awareness and involvement is everything.
