Here's a new idea: a Keto Vegetarian Diet Plan. It's a food program that blends the wisdom of 2 vastly different diets (which are generally considered polar opposites) into a perfect combination to create
optimal gut health.
A "Plant-based Keto diet that is Vegetarian (mostly)", was created by Dr. Will Cole. It is a vegetarian plan that avoids most dairy, but it leaves room for a few types of animal protein: wild caught fish, fish oils, grass-fed butter as ghee, and bone broth. It just makes so much sense to me! And although it may not be the perfect solution for everyone, Dr. Cole offers compelling arguments for following a Keto-tarian
plan.
This plan is similar to the principles of the True Gut Health 30-day reboot!, but it's much stricter in it's allowance of carbohydrates and in it's recommendations for getting proper fats and proteins from plant-based sources. Read my most recent post to learn more about this idea.
