Otakon 2020 Cancellation Information for Dealers and Artists

We are very sad to announce that we must join the countless other events around the world and announce the cancellation of Otakon 2020.

Today we have also announced the dates for Otakon 2021, returning to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center - August 6-8, 2021.

If you're receiving this message, it is because this address is on file as registered for a table in our Dealers Room or Artist Alley.

While we are very sad that we are unable to hold our convention this year, we are already working hard to plan for 2021. We very much hope you will be able to join us.

If you paid for your Artists Alley or Dealers Room table and are able to join us next year, then you don't need to take any actions. Your table will automatically be transferred for 2021 and Artists will not need to re-apply for the lottery process again. Your support of our event means so much to us.

If you're not able to join us for 2021, we understand and have updated our no refund policy to allow for refunds for this year. Please fill out the request form on our website by June 15, 2020. We will be unable to process requests submitted after that date. We will attempt to refund the credit card used to provide payment. Payments older than 90 days may need to be refunded by check. Please allow additional time for the processing of those payments.

Artists, if you request a refund and want to join us in 2021, you will have to re-apply through the lottery process again.
