Decision-making can be tricky. I believe that for any relationship to be successful, there must be trust and transparency.
I need to take my own advice.
Two weeks ago, I was invited by a global firm to serve as a referral source for major deals. My interactions with them were professional, responsive, and very polished. But my “spidey” senses still tingled. Something held me back
from signing the contract and after a thoughtful conversation with my own business advisor on Friday evening, I decided to decline.
The process cost me a lot of mental energy and took time away from our core work at Westgate. I was lured by the potential opportunity to work with a global company, meet new people, and with a potential financial
upswing.
It was surely a bad opportunity that was packaged very attractively, but I now feel confident I made the best decision.
Has this ever happened to you?
