“Never ‘sell yourself’. You won't need to sell yourself because you are already qualified for the role. You wouldn't be invited into the interview unless you are qualified. Think about it from a relational and not a transactional perspective.
Remember, you are the product and the solution. So, you're not going to sell yourself, you're going to sell your product.
Treat it (the interview) like a consulting engagement. Treat the employer, the board, and the recruiter, as though they were a client. You're going to be very curious, you're going to ask deep questions, and you're going to make it about
them."
