them or receiving them, they are the most dreaded task for most people.
We have a tool to assist. It is the first step in the personal branding journey "extract" (see the infographic below).
Use the 360Reach Survey when you are conducting reviews or being reviewed. It provides personal feedback that can unlock a career or relationship at work, on the board, and within your team.
The 360Reach Survey is used inside organizations and by individuals to uncover others’ perceptions, which is essential when there are promotions under consideration and when new leaders must be identified. The 360Reach Survey is the first personal brand survey created by William Arruda, the father of personal branding.
It is confidential and anonymous, and Survey participants can include friends, family, managers, peers, clients, and others. I did my 360Reach Survey in 2019 and what I learned from the Survey helped me understand how others perceived me and how my self-perceptions differed.
It enabled me to course-correct my brand by changing my personal approach with others in a slightly different way that honored my personal values of harmony and trust. In turn, my relationships with others deepened. In other words, I was able to "just be myself." It's a liberating feeling when you don't need to wear a mask.
The Survey
is easy to administer, cost-effective and can be done individually or purchased by organizations for teams. The self-assessment is completed first, and once that’s finished, the survey link is sent to the vetted list. The Survey takes between 10 and 20 minutes of the respondent’s time.
