This past November, I had the great fortune to meet David while attending an Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) event in New York City. David and I shared our perspectives from our respective areas of expertise and we continue that conversation in Episode 50 of the Get Hired Up! podcast in terms of culture, due diligence, and leadership.

David is the managing partner of  ACP, a private equity firm in New York City that buys, builds, and enhances lower middle market companies in TMT, business, marketing services, and manufacturing (TMT is Telecom Media Technology).

The 2023 Champagne Bistro was a big success yesterday. In its 6th year, we set important and meaningful personal, professional, and life intentions for the year ahead. Now our focus is on manifestation of those intentions. The Champagne Bistro is the brainchild of my former business coach, Pat Schuler, who tragically passed away in 2017. I hope I did justice to her beloved program. And if you weren't with us yesterday, I do hope you join us next January for the 2024 edition of the Champagne Bistro. 

The Get Hired Up! podcast is now in its third year, and we’ve just produced episode #50. This episode is particularly memorable because I was able to meet my guest in person in one of my favorite cities, New York City. 

I would like to acknowledge our podcast producer, Maddie Shears. Maddie has just transitioned into a new role in social media marketing for a global cybersecurity and business advisory firm headquartered in New York City. Maddie will report to the Toronto office. 

We are delighted that Maddie will continue to support Westgate as a brand ambassador and podcast producer on a part-time basis. Her hard work setting up our marketing systems over the last 3.5 years have increased capacity and scale for our global boutique professional services firm. We will miss her dearly on the team, but we will enjoy connecting with her in Toronto and New York for special events.
