It's a Dog's Life

Here is our lovely rescue, Ruby-Muppet (Ruby for short). We rescued Ruby from Grand Turk Island in November of 2022.

She was only 10 pounds when we found her under an overturned boat near a lighthouse. Getting her home was a major endeavor, but we are delighted to have a dog in the home, once again. 

Ruby is now 36 pounds and is seen here with my daughter, Allie-Cat, and her boyfriend, Sean--a beautiful night at the cottage last night (Nova Scotia, CANADA) near the famous sailing community, Chester. Ruby enjoys roaming the property (she never roams too far) and gingerly dipping her paws into the lake (it's only 10 degrees Celsius!).

Opening the cottage is always an anticipated milestone marking the beginning of the busy summer cottage season where we enjoy hosting friends and family on the weekends.
