Angie Hudson is a singer / guitarist from Byron Bay who has always enjoyed exploring the dynamics of creativity and performance, with a recent focus on her intimate stripped back shows where she can bare her songs in their most essential form. She has been compared to Giants such as Emily King, Norah Jones, Sade & Julia Jacklin. 'Roots n all' Triple J presenter Nkechi Anele stated that 'Angie's ability to break your heart with her voice is out of control'.
After a recent return from Europe/ UK she is back more inspired than ever.

SILVERSMITHING II - EARRINGS & DESIGN
@ Enclume Jewellery, Sat 8 Feb, 10-3pm
During this one-day design-based workshop, you will learn how to make a template for your design, cut out shapes, stamp patterns and motifs, hammer domes and curved shapes, as
well as drill holes and create hooks for earrings.
You will have the opportunity to personalise your earrings and come up with your own designs, from a selection of stamp tools and hammers available in the studio.
Students must have completed Introduction to Silversmithing Workshop to be eligible to attend Silversmithing II.
$185 tuition fee, includes material.

Come join us for a smashingly fun day learning china mozaic techniques. This workshop will be held in the garden at Somewhere in the Sunshine / marketta area behind
Flutterbies Cafe.
Held 1st Wednesday of the month. 10am - 3pm, with a break for lunch - bring your own, or treat yourself to the cafe menu (highly recommended!)
Cost - $80 for the day, including materials and use of tools. Feel free to bring along any pieces of china etc to use in your project. Perhaps a favourite cup or plate which has sadly broken - so great to resurrect those broken treasures. There will be hand tile cutters available to buy - no doubt you'll catch the bug and need to keep going with your project at home. It is recommended to come along to a follow up workshop also for tuition in grouting and any finishing touches
required.

SENIORS YOGA / STRETCH CLASS
Seeking expressions of interest
I am looking for Expressions of Interest for a Seniors Yoga / Stretch Class to be held in the Tyalgum Hall on a Friday at 9am.
Yoga is a great form of exercise for seniors. There are many yoga postures that can increase flexibility, mobility, strength, and balance through low impact movement. Psychologically, it can help keep your mind sharp and increase positive emotions, mindfulness, and relaxation.
Studies have found that yoga may help :
. Lower the risk of cardiovascular disease
. Prevent falls
. Manage arthritis, pain and inflammation
. Manage digestive issues
. Improves sleep quality
. Manage depression and anxiety
And much more.
Our classes will include gentle stretching, balancing, controlled breathing, meditation and will end with a wonderful relaxation. We will be using chairs for support during the class.
All you need is comfy clothes, a yoga mat if you have one, an open heart and mind ready to have lots of fun.
Classes will run for 50 minutes and $10.

You have two more weeks to have your say on the draft Community Development Strategy 2020 – 2024.
Council’s Community Development team has created a Community Development Strategy to help guide future involvement with the diverse communities in the Tweed. It will help us set priorities for the future and act as a reference for future funding applications.
Council welcomes community feedback until Thursday 13 February 2020.
