As part of our employee highlights series for 2023, each month we will introduce you to one of our stellar employees to give a little insight into those responsible for furthering the reputation we have for great products and service. 

Our next highlight is our Inventory Manager and Tanker-Truck Driver Ben Patrick. Ben started working for UA in February of 2014, and is closing in on the ten-year anniversary of his employment with United Asphalts.   

Ben is most frequently spotted behind the wheel of the United Asphalts tanker truck, picking up and delivering raw materials to the plant for the next day's production run. A former OTR Truck Driver, Ben is also in charge of inventory management at the plant, making sure items are ready to be loaded and delivered on-time to our customers across the country.       

Ben is a versatile employee whose contributions are key to our success as a company. "I always approach my work as if I owned the company myself" Ben said. "My goal is to work hard to provide for my family at home and to be an asset to my work family as well."

About working at UA Ben said, "The best part of being on the UA team is that we have a great owner who takes care of employees. Your are not a number, you are family. Plus, I have great co-workers and great work hours."

Outside of work, Ben loves football, running his fantasy football league, gardening, and being the best father and husband he can be.
