I’m so lucky to have a business that is all about my dogs. The decision to become a blogger was kind of an accident. I wanted to be a pet photographer, but as much as I loved photography, trying to turn it into a business wasn’t easy. But the blog I created to promote my photography business quickly captured my
heart. Adopting two littermate puppies inspired Keep the Tail Wagging; it was supposed to be a hobby blog where I blathered on about my dogs, but it became a bit more.
Today, Keep the Tail Wagging has become more than I could have expected. When I switched to writing about raw feeding, my goal was to create a space where people felt comfortable asking questions. We all love our dogs and want to do our best and it sucks that people are afraid to ask questions in raw feeding groups.
I’ve seen people laughed at, shut down, and criticized harshly for not knowing something. And this is NOT OKAY!
Please know that you can ask me questions when you have them.
Yeah, there are stupid questions, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t deserve an answer. Sometimes we’re so freaked out or stressed about something that we can’t think clearly. And, your questions help me out a lot. They give me something to research and something to write about. But most often, your
questions force me to rethink my beliefs and how I’m raising my dogs.
If we don’t questions what we’re doing, how will we grow?
