GETTING READING FOR THE FOURTH
Fireworks are illegal where I live, but that doesn't stop the noise that will start in a week or so. I live near Boom City and people drive from far north and south to stock up on fireworks. COVID put a minor damper on the holiday last year, but not much. Now that our state is opening up, I expect that people will make up for last year and I need to get my dogs ready.
I use a combination of exercise, essential oils, and CBD oil to keep the dogs calm. For Rodrigo, I may have to medicate him again (last year was our first year) - we'll have to play it by ear:
ESSENTIAL OILS
Thanks to repeated recommendations by friends (thanks, Diane), I use AnimalEO with my dogs and on the Fourth, I plan to diffuse Calm-a-Mile Neat and apply Calm-a-Mile (or Warmth) RTU to everyone's coat (along the spine).
CBD OIL
I have three CBD oils that I like and for the fourth, I'll be giving the dogs CALM by CBD Dog Health (because that's what I have on hand).
