It's Labor Day Weekend
For many people, Labor Day Weekend signals a long weekend and the end of the summer. My friends are squeezing in a vacation or wrapping up home projects.
What am I doing? Looking for sales online because every major holiday means that I can save money on dog food, supplements, and more.
Dr. Harvey's
Dr. Harvey's is hinting at a big Labor Day Sale. I use their base mixes in my meal prep and I'm hoping to pick up 6-pound bags of their Paradigm and Raw Vibrance for 25% off. Usually, their discounts max out at 15% off.
We Feed Raw
Rodrigo has become picky in his old
age and I'm okay with it because it's provided an opportunity to learn more about feeding a geriatric dog. I'm still making DIY blends for Zoey and Apollo. Rodrigo is eating commercial raw and gently cooked food (with some DIY thrown in).
One brand that he LOVES is We Feed Raw and they have a 50% off (yeah, WOW!) your first order. I ordered a month of the beef recipe at $3.33/lb.
CocoTherapy
Through
Monday 9/5/2022, CocoTherapy is discounting everything on their website by 10% (singles), 12% (combos), and 15% (multipacks).
I placed an
order for coconut and MCT oil, which are common in our home.
Essential Oils
And, if you're as much into essential oils as I am, Plant Therapy, one of the only brands I trust, is having a sale over the weekend too. I won't do any serious shopping until December. For this weekend, I'll pick up a couple of my favorite oils to diffuse in the house to
create uplifting and calm energy:
- Peru Balsam has a vanilla aroma with a hint of cinnamon and I love the scent. It's similar to stargazer lilies (to me).
- Kumquat is the best citrus oil available. The scent is strong without being overwhelming and it doesn't remind me of Fruit Loops like many citrus oils.
- Clary Sage promotes a calming energy and is great for hair. I add 20 drops in a spray bottle with water and my conditioner for a daily spray. It helps my curls bounce back while keeping my scalp healthy.
I can go on and on. I plan to set my alarm for midnight to take advantage of the Plant Therapy sale because the kumquat essential oil sells out quickly.
More discounts will be shared on Patreon. You can join for as little as $1/month for exclusive content.
