Hi
How about taking a long weekend to Southern Spain with me in April?
Southern Spain is where I started my guiding career in 1987 for the Swedish tour company Temaresor, which combined nature and culture.
I am looking forward to do this trip again, and it would be great if you could join me, .
Bucket list items in Andalucia.
- Iberian Lynx
- Raptors such as Spanish Imperial Eagle, Bonelli's Eagle, Golden Eagle and Griffon and Cinereous Vultures, and Lammergeier.
- Many other birds
- Alhambra - the Moorish palace in Granada.
- Mesquita of Cordoba - another Moorish masterpiece
- Lots of great Andalusian food
- Dry Sherry
- Tapas
Dates?
April 23-28, 2022
Price.
Normal price is $2100. Reply before March 23, to receive a $300 discount. Just reply to this email.
Do you want to see Gorilla and Shoebill, but lack the time?
The program for our Uganda trip for 2022 has been amended with 2 more days and is now 9 days to have more time for the endemic birds per request by the two people already joining the trip. However it is possible to make the trip shorter by putting the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where the Gorillas are at the end of the trip and
limit to 7 days as it was before. Is this something you would be interested in this year, or in 2023?
Or do you feel that the itinerary is better with 9 days?
Please, let me know.
Podcast - Bucket List Birding
It is taking forever, but I am still editing the Bucket List Birding podcast interviews I did with Terry Townshend of Birding China and legendary Latin America Bird Conservationist Byron Swift.
To my defense, I have guided a lot the last couple of months in Central Peru, in Ecuador and North Peru, and spent much of January in the US with the family when my daughter celebrated her 15th birthday.
Now, I have cleared a lot of free time until the Spain tour in April, so I hope the next episode will be released within a couple of days.
Until then, please listen to the previous episodes of Bucket List Birding podcast with interviews with Nigel Marven, Peter Kaestner and James Wolstencroft where ever you get your podcasts. You can also listen on the website and check out the show notes for each episode. I have linked to a bunch of videos of bucket lists birds and
places.
