This weekend's message is part of a new message series from pastor Mark -- called "Lent 2024." This message is based on the following Bible passage: Mark 11:1-11.

 

The message is entitled: "Jesus and Expectations." The message will focus on a theme that we've touched on before during this message series: how Jesus challenged and defied the expectations that people had for him. Nowhere is this contrast -- between who Jesus really WAS and what he came to DO vs what people expected and wanted from him -- than on Palm Sunday. Our passage, Mark 11, makes clear this contrast. In the message we'll talk about how we have to deal with this contrast in our own lives today as well.
