Manifest Abundance in ALL areas of your Life.
~The SEED Handbook by Lynn Franks
November is the month of remembering and gratitude. It starts with All Soul's Day which I discovered when I moved to Spain a few years ago. This is the day in which you remember those that you have loved and lost. In Spain, it is the day of the year in which they go to the cemetery to clean the graves of their family members. For me, I toss roses into the sea as I spend time reflecting on the memories of those I love that no longer walk with me. It is a
powerful way to start the month as we head into the holiday season and winter. This is the Remembering part of November which I love.
Who do you miss and like to remember especially as we enter the season of festivities? It is one way to make sure those that are no longer with us, continue to be a part of our lives when we remember their souls and give thanks for having loved them.
No one is actually dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away.
~ Terry Pratchett
Then we go towards the end of the month and we have a day of Thanks with my favourite holiday, Thanksgiving!
This day is about family & friends breaking bread and just simply being together. The history of this holiday is fascinating and complex, just as our modern version of it is. However, it is the one holiday I feel has proven to remain basically pure and I am so grateful for THIS aspect of it. In a world which continues to move toward commercialisation with everything, this day of thanks is still one that remains pretty much the same as it was in my childhood.
Though my personal circle of family & friends has changed dramatically over the years, this holiday is a day that warms my heart, no matter what part of the world I am living in. For me it is the best of America. This is the Thankfulness part of November which I love.
Gratitude paints a smiley face on everything it touches.
~ Richelle Goodrich
What are you grateful for?
I am grateful to be graced to do work that I know makes a positive impact on the lives of my clients one space at a time. I am grateful for my health, my circle of friends and family that warm my daily life and the memories of those that I have been lucky enough to have known, lived and shared some magically moments with.
With the above in mind, we enter the holiday season with the focus on remembering the love of the past, honouring the sacredness of having lost and the gratitude for what we have left to love and offer others.
My Holistic Interior Designs method is about practicing sacredness with our spaces, understanding we have a deep impact on the world, and our environment. Let me help you to make sure this impact causes some powerful, positive ripples.
