Autumn is the season of change. It offers us each the
opportunity to start again. A combination of the shift in temperatures, the Fall Equinox, The Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah, and the beginning of school reminds us of this second chance to kick-start some changes in our lives.
What do you want to change?
As the summer holiday memories already begin to fade, it's a welcome chance to focus forward. We've got a few more months in 2023 and there is plenty of time to set your dreams into motion.
Time to turn over a new leaf...
Often the switch from summer to autumn can be challenging. We humans seem to suffer from the challenges of
change. On one hand we crave it, and on the other hand we fight it. This is a natural, albeit annoying, human instinct. I personally have to practice to not let the fear of change to stop me.
Courage is the feeling of fear and doing it anyways.

For me this summer has had many ups and downs. In Europe summer is a time for family, holidays, relaxing. There are fiestas and gathering and lots of fireworks. Nothing work-related gets done so it's best to settle into that kind of vibe or you'd be disappointed! As a NY'er in my heart, this can be challenging but I bumble along and am slowly
becoming part of the lifestyle that makes living more essential than working.
But ohlala, the vibe of September gets me so excited! Yes, I was that nerdy kid that loved going back to school!
