My most recent talk in NYC felt like a grand success. Over 100 people signed up to come along to hear my story of how I have redesigned my own life to be more sustainably happier, healthier & more harmonious.
It was an honor to share my story and to get the response I did from so many of you that it touched. Thank-you from the bottom of my heart.
Create the Space and a Bigger Life Happens.
Just because I redesigned some parts of my life (and some of my space), does not mean it is over and I can just plod along as if there is no more work to be done. Along the way I have discovered they call it PRACTICE for a reason.
The time I shared with you while I was on my design trip to NYC has INSPIRED ME. I am already dreaming & planning my next lecture series for January 2020. Stay tuned!
How to be Sustainable in an UnSustainable World?
I found myself repeating this questions to myself over and over as I was traveling within the USA this trip. Many of you know that I live in Spain, but work in the USA, so I live a sort of global-nomad-life and therefore am living across cultures. This unique aspect to my life provides me the rare perspective of seeing things that are often too close to see ourselves.
We are acting as if we have another place to move to.
We need to start Designing a Sustainable Future.
The USA is known as the land of plenty. I have realized it is also known for being full of addictive consumption and is all about total convenience. Even I struggled to not be drowned in a sea-of-plastic and I found it difficult to find options to be sustainable all the time I was traveling.
Do you ever feel disillusioned? Overwhelmed? Depressed?
Well, me too. Especially in that moment of plastic-land overwhelm.
But then I got a good nights sleep, did something good for my soul, talked with a friend, went for a walk in nature. And then, I started to think HOW can I make a positive difference to be the change for the thing that which is so distressing to me? I have some cool ideas....
Wanna be part of the POSITIVE CHANGE?
Join my tribe and lets collectively be the change we want to see. We can design the future we want to.
