I usually do not jump and buy stuff! I am very frugal in this respect, but for some unknown reason to me (at this very point in time) I have gone ahead, bought and installed Link Whisperer from AppSumo
and you can do it as well. It's an incredibly great and useful way to help you to build Internal Links in WordPress and an very effective and easy way to improve the quality of your SEO. I am pretty sure that we all need any help we can get with respect to Blog SEO.
I am in the process of fine tuning but at least I can see the below in the Reporting system, and am very happy to see that I do not have any Broken links or 404 errors. I do have plenty Orphaned Posts but that's to be expected and the next thing I will work on to get them all resolved and Internal links added.
You will find other reports as well, like showing you the number of
Internal links per individual post
Most linked to domains and they will say. i.e. Pinterest, Twitter etc.
Then a pie chart showing you the ratio between Internal vs External Links.
There may be more, but as mentioned, I am still to work through the rest of the App to make sure I have everything covered.
I have to work through the tutorial to make sure that I get everything set up correctly, but that's something that will be done in due course.
