FEATURED INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY #1: The Opportunity: H2O Connected is raising $3M Convertible Note to reduce water waste (Women-led, Opportunity Zone)Details: Nearly all of the 300 million North American tank-toilets will leak, run, overflow, and /or flush inefficiently, causing high water and sewer bills, property damage, burden on the electrical grid, and excess greenhouse gas emissions. H2O Connected developed and manufactures the multi-patented LeakAlertor Wireless PRO - the only system that can reliably detect, alert, diagnose, and quantify these costly water-wasting problems. The LeakAlertor Wireless PRO System is fully developed and has completed its test market launch, which included multiple customer purchases in each of its target
markets: hotels, senior housing, student housing, and multi-tenant apartments. The LeakAlertor 6000, the homeowner solution, has sold 18,000+ units. The Company is also active in revitalizing the high-poverty City of Coatesville, providing social and workforce development and environmental impact. Minimum investment is $50K for individuals and $100K for institutions. For further information and investment inquiries, view this opportunity in OptImpact or contact Susan Springsteen, President. Special Invitation: H2O Connected will be presenting to Investors Circle Philadelphia on Wednesday, February 14th at 2pm. Accredited investors are invited to participate. Contact Andrew Porter to RSVP.
FEATURED INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY #2: The Opportunity: ROAR is kicking off a $2M convertible note to fuel growth and protect at-risk workers (Diverse, Women-led)Details: ROAR, a certified B Corp that helps protect at-risk healthcare and hospitality workers with wearable panic buttons, is kicking off a $2M convertible note to fuel growth. They just secured a 5-year $2.6M ARR contract with the largest behavioral
healthcare company in the US, becoming their exclusive staff safety provider. With more than 2M people protected and a 99% retention rate across 179 customers, ROAR finished last year with $1.3M in total revenue and an ARR run rate of $770k. They are targeting $3M in total revenue this year with an ARR run rate of $1.5M. This bridge will help double revenue and impact by expanding the sales team, ramping up capacity, and aiming toward profitability. ROAR's investment roster includes BFTP,
the Untours Foundation, Samuel Fels Fund, Investors Circle, and Broad Street Angels. For further information and investment inquiries, contact Yasmine Mustafa, Co-Founder
& CEO. Special Invitation: ROAR will be presenting to Investors Circle Philadelphia on Wednesday, February 14th at 2pm. Accredited investors are invited to participate. Contact Andrew Porter to RSVP.
FEATURED INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY #3: The Opportunity: Pression is closing its $2M Seed Round to bring non-invasive therapy to 2M suffering from debilitating chest pain caused by Coronary Artery DiseaseDetails: Approximately 17M Americans suffer from Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), costing Medicare $100B/year, and ~2M have refractory angina (RA). Pression is developing the Wave PRO, a non-invasive treatment using External Counterpulsation Therapy (ECP), providing clinically significant relief for 90% of patients. Only ~1% of RA patients have access to ECP therapy. The Pression Wave PRO can increase access to ECP treatment and offer a highly effective treatment option to a patient population who remain largely untreated and in pain. The Wave PRO is automated, comfortable, and cost-effective for patients, providers, and
payers. With existing national coverage from both Medicare and private insurance, the TAM is about $7B. Pression is ready to enter clinical trials with trial-ready hardware and agreement from the FDA on the design of their single-center, non-invasive clinical trial. Their CRO is under contract, and they are ready to begin clinical trials within ~2 months of funding, with expected total enrollment to be complete in 10-12 weeks. For further information and investment inquiries, contact Adam Salamon, Founder & CEO.

FEATURED READING Seeds of
Change: Cultivating a Thriving Impact Investing Ecosystem in Philadelphia Details: The devastating consequences of divestment, like deteriorating infrastructure, vacant lots, and vast expanses of food and green space deserts, are glaringly obvious in low-income areas of
Philadelphia. These inequalities in resources and opportunities have created a vicious cycle of poverty and made upward mobility very difficult. For the Philadelphia region, relying solely on traditional philanthropic models is insufficient to address these entrenched disparities and complex challenges. Poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation cannot be solved by simply chasing profit margins and depending on philanthropy. Read ImpactPHL Perspectives, Volume 72. |
