Happy warm sun shine day,  🌞
Â
Is the sun enough or do you need Vitamin D?
Today this topic has been asked frequently in our coaching group so I thought you might be concerned as well.
All ages need to know their Vitamin D levels. - Even the babies.
Â
When my precious triplet grandbabies were born at 34 weeks we immediately put them on Vitamin D drops. They needed to boost their immune system and help their brain and bones.
Â
I will add links at the bottom for the products we used and what I use today.
Â
Are you concerned about your immune system - brain - bones?
You should be.  🤔
Â
Let me share two rules for all my clients - to protect their future. And also how to get more vitamin D in your diet and supplements.
Â
First Rule - Know your numbers. Please have your Vitamin D checked at the minimum at least once a year. As I have shared in previous emails you can order this test yourself at Direct.labs.com. It is inexpensive yet informative.
Â
Second Rule - Please don't even tell me 'the doctor said it is within normal limits'. That will get a quick finger shaking from me.Â
Â
YOU need to know the exact number and also have it written down in your personal health journey notebook. Second rule - keep a notebook on paper - your phone may crash - of all your blood tests. We need to see a trend to identify when you might be looking at a serious illness or disease growing.Â
Â
By tracking - you will be able to make changes and help the body to heal before it is too late.
Â
Now that you know my rules - let's look at Vitamin D.
First goal is to have your Vitamin D ng/ml to be above 50. There are therapeutic ways to make this happen quickly and if you want to discuss this please respond to this email to schedule a quick 20 minute appointment.
Â
Foods that build Vitamin D
Here is a longÂ
list from NIH.
Quick list includes fish, cod liver oil, egg yolks (cooked), mushrooms, tuna, carrots, apples.
Â
And don't forget the sun! Yes 15 minutes in the sun helps your body synthesize its own vitamin D! 😎 Do I hear an AMEN here?
Â
Should you supplement?
Answer - Definitely YES!
Remember it has been discovered that those with cancer have vitamin D levels below 70.
Protect your heart - your bones - and your cells by taking a good Vitamin D supplement.
Â
Here are some supplements that I use myself and suggest for my clients.
Disclosure - these links do benefit us with a small percentage of the sale yet it does not add to your cost. We appreciate all contributions to keep this message coming to you.
Vitamin D drops: drops are perfect for kids and babies, or adults who
don't want to take pills.
Â
Vitamin D tablets - these are my new favorite - I love all the additional nutrients added, plus it is Organic and Non-GMO!Â
Sweet!
