2. It cost too much.
The answer to this is to not limit God. This statement is very limiting and our income does not limit God.
*Pray while you write out the meal plans for the week.
* Pray as
you enter the grocery store or farmers' market. Look for specials and clearance items that are good choices.
* Learn to cook. Packaged foods are most expensive. Yet, basics are less. Cook beans, rice, legumes, and vegetables from raw.
*As you cook and serve, pray for the food to be satisfying and multiply the servings.
* Eat less.
*Fast 1 - 3 meals per week.
All these tips work! Keep God in the front of your prayers and be thankful for how he is going to provide.
3. Eating to feed the temple is not about replacement foods. We don't replace a candy bar for an apple.
We choose to
enjoy the apple and thank God for that sweet juicy flavor. This may seem like a play on words but it is a mindset.
When we think in terms of replacement, a day will come when you don't want to replace that once favorite food. Instead, we look at food differently. It is a delight, not a replacement.
